my new news

well...chris and i are together now, so i can officially say it for the record. things are gonna have to move really slow, with his situation. currently, he lives next door to his in laws...or, ex this situation, i dont know what to call them. he's selling his house, hopefully moving to sterling pointe. he was looking at moving here before him and i even met. so, he's getting out of the marines, maybe as early as next tuesday, but 90 days is what we're hoping for. he's already got his discharge letters. he's getting out on a hardship discharge. for those of you who dont know the situation, his wife died in december. i know, you're all asking why i'm involved in this, and i dont need anyone telling me to take it slow. him and i have already discussed this. but, i havent felt like this in so long. never with ernest or matt. he tells me everyday how happy he is with me, and how he smiles every time he thinks about me. we have so much fun when we're together, and we talk for hours about everything or nothing, and always have something more to talk about. he sends me little e-mail notes at work to tell me hes thinking about me. i know i rush into things sometimes, but, i've never in my life had someone treat me like he has. i dont want to get my hopes up to get them crushed, but man, the way he makes me feel. i don't have to talk to him every hour or see him every day. for some odd reason, i trust him completely. we all know trust is a HUGE issue with me. i only know for sure i'll see him once a weekend, but if he gets free time during the week, even just an hour, he comes to spend it with me. the flowers, i cant even describe how beautiful they were...and here is it 2 weeks after vday, and they're still alive! before i met him, i didnt want to be involved with anyone, i didnt want to date anyone. i had NO DATING on the brain. i didnt have time for it and i didnt want the drama. even when i met him that night at emerald city, i didnt think anything would really come of it. i never thought he would call. he never planned on seeing me again, and he told me this. but, he tells me now, he wouldnt want it any other way. and, neither would i...have i finally met the man of my dreams? how soon is too soon to tell??? well...i guess i should stop writing room mate is giving me shit...non-scoobs just dont

Missed me?

Hi everyone. Hope you all had a great weekend. Bannag, I hope you're enjoying your trip. I saw the pictures... they looked good. Sorry I haven't been on in a day or two... it's been crazy over here on my end. Mike & Megan, Work, April and her computer game addiction, falling statues, paying bills, etc. So, with nothing more than work on my mind, I'm gonna plan out my day tomorrow. This seems to be the first page I look at in the mornings so it's become kind of handy... it's like a sticky note with all my friends faces on it. (hehehe) I'm also posting this for the benefit of Scythe and Dan, so they can remember what we have planned for the next day or so. Tonight's Work:
  1. Dan: Call Tim with the specs on the Dell Laptop for his customer if possible. That customer is getting a little twitchy about the wait to get the work done.
  2. Dan: Pack up the Toshiba laptop and take it to the shop on your way into meet Pioneer in the morning. Let Scott know that we agreed on applying Arctic Silver to the CPU and testing to see if that reduces the thermal induction issue we're having with the overheating.
Tuesday Morning: Morning Meeting at the condo at 10:30
  1. Dan: Take that Dell PC to Sunset early AM before you meet with me and Tim at 10:30.
  2. Tommy: (DONE) Call Amy McKeown at VC3 about the Pio job; see about scheduling tech time at 11:30 for onsite support for merging the paging system with the new VOIP Cisco phone system.
  3. Scythe: Call Ken Woolard and check-in with him regarding this equipment replacement. If you're not comfortable with it, let me know and I'll call him... just remind me.
  4. Dan/Scythe:
    1. Go to Pio tomorrow at 11:30 and finish job listed above.
    2. Drop Off Toshiba @ Office
    3. Setup Patsy's Office and Point Files
    4. Setup new Dell Desktop for Moses
    5. Configure Server for new client computers.
  5. Tommy:
    1. Get Bank account and routing information for DD for Payroll.
    2. Process outbound weekend orders for eBay.
    3. (DONE) Call Jason Somers re: COD order.
    4. Process Red Barn order through CCT.
    5. Call Scott and get the Dell rep information for the guy who wants to take over our account.
    6. Get Invoices out to customers for payment.
      1. (DONE) Invoice B&A
      2. (DONE) Invoice DVC
      3. (DONE) Invoice SM
      4. Re-invoice the customers who had returned address information.
      5. Enter Dell payments from Scott into QB.
      6. Call Accountant and initiate direct-deposit on all accounts.
    7. Order USR 8003 from CDW.
    8. (DONE) Get new Dell for Moses setup and process the invoice.
  6. Dan: Start the quote for ICC through Dell.
Wednesday Morning: Dan: 9 AM Meeting with Sprint at DVC

  8. Run the phone number from the Punch Down to the offices of the Sprint tech isn't going to do it.
  9. Call Sable about outsourcing locally to POS customers. Speak to Lupa or Patricia.
  1. Early Morning: Meet and go spec the Omni install at Klein's office.
  2. Go to Lowes' and get hardware.
  3. Begin Hardware install.
Thursday: Tim: Swap IH hardware with ECN hardware if it comes in from supplier. New Projects To Handle: These are the projects that are on the slate that we've been meaning to talk about and get underway with.
  1. Tommy: Call PCC and Edgecombe CC about recruiting part time labor from the Network Technology groups for independent project work.
  2. Make a small flier to pass to small restaurant chains here in town to offer WISP to customers. (WI-FI only, not WI-MAX).
  3. Contact the Pitt County Business Licensing Bureau to see if we can get access to a list of businesses who have applied for new business licenses in a given time period. This would be a good source of leads for install/terminate/drop jobs for part timers and to help float new business requirements.
That's it. That's been my day today... and tomorrow.. and the next day.... and come to think of it, the next day too! Dang! So how is everyone else's week going thus far? I miss you guys... and hope to see you all soon.

it's a shame...

Zoe and I won't be able to go to PetsMart anymore...

Weekend Update

hey everyone, wow, I just realized it has been a week since I posted a blog....I guess I didn't think I had anything worth reporting, but as Gandalf keeps telling me, it is the little stuff that is interesting. I spent most of my week planning for Friday night and trying to a) keep it a secret from Natalie and b) get more people to come. It ended up being just me, nikki, and natalie, but it was worth the planning. After that we went to EC and hung out with some of the scoob's....always a good time. My legs are so sore though! Saturday I did nothing but watch TV and lie in bed, even though I have work piling up around me. But, the weekends are made for procrastination, right? Nikki and I had another girls night last night- we got some taco bell, and some chocolate, and spent the night watching the second season of sex and the city on dvd. It was great. I have to say I hate my neighbors though- some guy was standing outside our door drunk at 2:30 in the morning screaming his bloody head off. Today I spent all day working, and I am actually much closer to being finished with the work I put off all day yesterday. It's been a slow day around here, and not many people have been online to talk to, which I guess is good because it means I have less time to do things like this, and more time to work. Speaking of which, I'd better get back to it. And I'll try to blog more often next week and quit being such a slacker. Hope everyone has a good week. And April, I'm sorry to hear you didn't get that job. It just means there is a better one out there waiting for yo

Hey Guys Well, we spent all day today doing stuff for the wedding, getting the house together, getting jewlery, last minute decorations etc etc....So, next weekend is the weekend b4 our big day and I am sure that my girl nikki is trying to get a group together to do something. I convinced Thiago that he had to go out since everyone would be expecting whatever we end up doing I would like to request that we do it as a GROUP to celebrate our big day. By the way Agent missed the show last fri...chippendales was hillarious you all (girls I mean) should have been there. Holla!!!

Well so much for the weekend.

Blah, Blah, Nothing to do but lay around. Hey thats what Sunday is for, preparing for another week. I just mansged to muster up the strength to make a post due to somones impatience. Thats it though... Have a nice week everyone! P.S. Mrs. JS, Why are you so negetive! My postal fun is good clean fun!

what a saturday night

wow...i had a blast tonight. Chris and I started at the OC. it was a good time, once we got past a few small things. we left there to go meet his neice and her bf at emerald city. as we were getting to EC, they called and decided they wanted to go to 519. now, we all know how much i HATE downtown. so, we met them at 519, had a beer, then left and went to emerald city. chris and i had a really good time together. we danced and danced and jsut had a great time. this was the first night him and i have been out without my scoobs. i felt a little out of my element, but we had a blast together. we left EC at 2 and called it a night...well...almost, but that part in a secret. so, now i'm going to eat 2 eggo waffles and hit the hay. i hope everyone had a great night. talk to ya'll tomorrow!!!

nothing for me tonight

looks like i'm the first one to back out of tonights plans...i've got to work all day tomorrow. i have to go into the bank from 9-12 to practice on our new computer system since conversion is 2 weeks away. then, i volunteered to work at the convention center for the homebuilders expo from 1-5. it will be ok...i can use this time to get some referrals. there's a campaign going on at work and for every referral that opens an account, i get $5. hey, anything extra helps. i had my interview today. it went well, but it will be a few weeks before i hear anything. i'm just really afraid that with all the changes going on here at the branch, with the new branch opening, and the promotion i just got, it will hinder me from getting this HR position. but, both people i interviewed with today know that my supervisors fully support me and back me 100%. so, just gotta hope and pray about it now and hopefully get some good news in the next few weeks. anyways, i hope everyone has fun tonight. if for some odd reason, you happen to see my man at emerald city, i want a phone i'm gonna go make some dinner and retire with a glass of wine and a movie...NAPOLEON DYNOMITE!!!!! until tomorrow...

Update on Job Search.....

Ok, so I finally found out that I didn't get the job...... :( I called today to to the Op. Manager (since he was the one who interviewed me), and he didn't call me back. But, one of the guys that I know called me and said that they hired someone else but that if she doesn't work out they would let me know....... right, like that will ever happen. Ok, so not to rain on anyone's parade, since it is FRIDAY and everyone wants to go out, but I really feel like throwing a pity party right now. I REALLY wanted that job, but, oh well, life goes on. On a happier note, for those of you that don't know yet, Lucky's is not opening til next week, the electrician couldn't get in to finish his work, so no inspection, so no liquor license, so no opening. I happen to know the owner (she's a partner with one of my bar owners at another place), so I'll check on more VIP memberships for those interested. So, I guess we'll all end up at Emerald City, dancing the night away like we had originally planned! :) Maybe next weekend we'll go to Lucky's.... If you're interested, I'm working at the OC tomorrow night, and there is supposed to be a band (supposed being the key word here) so come keep me company :) I need all the money I can make! Well, I guess that's all for now, TGIF everyone, and lets PARTY HARDY!!!!

Hey Everyone

Hey yall...I haven't blogged in a week. I have been really busy. The kids and I went to see the new POOH movie yesterday. It was so cute. Both kids had a great time and were completely still through the whole thing. Today I have got McKenzi. Brad (Robin's Boyfriend) is coming home from Iraq today. McKenzi and I are going to spend sometime together today before she moves back to Fayetteville. I really don't want to see this kid move that far away from me. I will be making frequent trips to Bragg. Marcus and I watched Ray the other night it was the best movie I have seen in a while. Marcus even cooked!!! Things are going great with the two of us. I am going over there tonight to cook supper and then I don't know what we are doing. If Lucky's is opening tonight we will probably go there with Marisa, if not we might go see Hitch or something. We don't exactly know what is going on for tonight all we know is that I'm cooking and we will be together. Marcus is an amazing guy. I am sooo happy. Ok enough of me going on about how great my relationship is going...So how is everyone else. Saturday night what is everyone doing. Saturday during the day I have a Birthday party for my niece Rebecca and then Saturday night Marcus is cooking and then we are free we have nothing planned. Sunday Marisa and I are going to Janis and Ed's for Allison's 5th Birthday party. If anyone wants to do anything this weekend let me know. Until then I will be with the most amazing little girl in the world.

Which Fantasy/SciFi Character Are You?

Which Fantasy/SciFi Character Are You? Ok all you nerds out there, I know this quiz will be interesting to you. So, which character are you? I'm dying to find out!

Which Fantasy/SciFi Character Are You?

This is my character, who are you?
is his name really McFly???

Buff Todd?

Lets not get ahead of ourselves.

were is everyone one has blogged all day? where are all you people???well...i only have a minute cause chris is gonna come over (YAY)...but, i better get a good luck from all of you, my interview for corporate is tomorrow @8:30...until later, i'm out... (gotta pick up before he gets here...i really like this one, gotta make a good impression!

Wow... sorry it's so late.

Hi all. My most sincere apologies for taking to long to get to the blog today. It's been a HELLUVA day... but a good one. It's 12:06 now and I've just finished my work for the day. Check this out: Monday- worked 14 hours, Tuesday- worked 15 hours, Wednesday- worked 15.5 hours. So far I'm at 45.5 hours for the week and it's only Wednesday night. Does this mean I get the rest of the week off? Holy Crap. On the side of progress: What has my tireless efforts reaped for the week? Well, thus far we have completely finished IHOP's wireless Internet access, so you can all go hang out, surf the web free, and munch down on your Rutti Tooti Fresh & Fruity, courtesy of Pingbot and myself and our amazing super-powers! We also landed a new client today that will be 1 days work, but will pay for everyone's payroll for a whole week. That's nice. And after 7 months of being persistent, patient, and downright annoyed, I FINALLY got Ironwood Country Club to come to the negotiating table. They're ready to install their new hardware. So far, I'm 7 out of 8 on closing deals since the beginning of February. I'm feeling mighty high right now about my closing ratio. I'm closing 87.5% of the customers I talk to. That's great in my personal opinion. Usually, a great sales team can close 1 out of 4. We are beating that percentage all to hell and back, which is great. The down side is that I haven't hardly had any time at all with April this week. I've been working since before she gets up, and still at work until about 4 hours after she gets home from work. Needless to say, this weekend is going to be a nice relaxing one away from everything work related. OOH.. I talked to the Secretary of the Coastal Carolina Equestrian Centre this evening. She apparently owns 7 horses that she keeps for trail riding and has more boarded at her stables. She can't get them all ridden each day and keep them worked so I think I'm gonna get some GREAT ride time! She wants the help and I want the riding therapy. There was never a time that I felt better than when I was riding. I think it's truly the biggest passion I've ever had. Believe it or not, I used to get up VOLUNTARILY every day at 4:45 AM to go ride every single morning before work... lol. I never missed a day. You KNOW I've got to love something to get up before 9 AM for it. Anyway, I'll talk to her more as the week goes on and see about setting something up with that. She wants me to ride in the annual ride on the 1st of April. Woohoo! ok... well, now that I've filled in my day, I'll try to find time for more random bloggy things.... I just wanted to fill you all in on what I've been up to. Marisa: I hope your job interview went well. Mourningstar: finally got his home-gym together! *big round of applause* Now, he's gonna be BUFF-TODD instead of BIFF-TADD. Nat and Thiago: Got their marraige license today... I was a "witness".... I mean cheuffeur... lol.. so Contratulations guys. I'm happy for you both. April : Developed a severe blog addiction. I'm trying to think of a good term for the psychosis: Blogaphelia. Me: I got a new phone today. I'm still using the work phone number primarily, but I got a new LG like Agent M's because I friggin hated that other one. I'm giving mine to McFly at work... who will probably reprogram it to operate like a TNG Tri-Corder. ( I bet no one but Gecko and Pingbot get that reference.) OK.. I'm gone for now.. I'm going to go through the rest of the posts and see what I've been missing. Love you all.

Greetings ethersphere...

Howdy. How y'all doin' this mornin? It's amazing how a protien shake can change your whole morning. These things are GOOD! I hope you're all having a good day thus far. I should have a little more time to interact here today hopefully. I figured I'd write and plan my day out on here. That always seems to put my morning in the proper perspective. So here we go. Today's To Do List:
  • Finish this pot if coffee. (In Progress)
  • (Done) Call Bannag and have my morning chat.
  • (Done) Update Turbo Lister and List this week's ads on eBay.
  • (Done) Process eBay sales from last night.
  • (Done) Have Dan go by Insurers Group and re-pitch the proposal to Waighty and hopefully get approval on a scaled down proposal.
  • (Done) Have Pingbot check on the DSL installation update for IHOP and get an ETA.
  • (Done) Make sure Pingbot has ordered the parts for the IHOP wireless install. (Client Bridge, WAP, Router & Switch, etc.)
  • Have Pingbot call George Klein and attempt to setup a time on the COR install at his office.
  • (Done) Have Dan bring me the toolboxes from the job the other day.
  • (Done) Go to Lowes and pickup 2 more toolboxes.
  • Order materials for network jobs from CCT for the new toolboxes.
  • Call the finance lady and check on the status of our in-house financing.
  • Enter the billable information from the mail that scott gave me and find out who still needs to pay us.
  • (Done) Check with Pingbot on the progress at EC neurology, depending on the response from Senao on the WAP issues we had last weekend.
  • (Done) Get the new laptop from the office for Tim.
  • Get McFly on the email lists and get his contact information.
  • Find out if Scott has talked to the accountant like I asked him to about getting Direct Deposit for everyone's checks.
  • Call Logan's and see if they'd like to offer Wireless Internet Access in their bar/front dining section.
Ugh... I'm sure there's more to do, but that's enough to keep me going for 12 hours or so.

Monday, damn I'm glad it's almost over.

Well, this is my third fucking attempt at this tonight. When I first sat down here 3o minutes ago, I was in a great mood. Now I'm just fucking aggravated. We had a LONG day today. I had a great weekend on eBay so that gave me endless hours of bookkeeping entertainment to do today. If anyone is ever looking for an alternative to beating your head against a brick wall for fun, they can try bookkeeping on a monday morning! God. Later on today, I find out that, all total, we haven't accomplished much of shit today. I was busting my balls all day long, and a few others were, but at the end of the day it seems I have to spoon-feed most of the people that I work with or they don't get anything done. Add to that the fact that I went to dinner with a new employee tonight. Scott hired him to run the Dell calls. Little did I know that we had just hired George McFly. I was HOPING to have someone that would help push Scott further towards progress, rather then towards playing games. However, much to my surprise, guess how Scott met him? On that damned game, City of Heroes. Now I have ANOTHER gaming junkie on the payroll. Technically I can't complain because McFly is performance based and paid hourly, not salary, so if I'm paying him, that means he's making me money... so that's good. He may work out to be a great guy... I have to try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I did get to get a huge kick out of the fact that I'm taking this guy to a business dinner with Scott. Now Scott is the biggest miser in the world. He can squeeze blood from a penny! What does this guy order for dinner? The BIGGEST thing on the menu. LMAO. It would be funny if I weren't footing the bill for this. It was ALMOST worth it though to watch this 120 pound guy eat a 22 ounce porterhouse, a WHOLE baked potato, skin and all, a salad, peanuts (in the shell) and THEN gnaw on the bone. He definitely got every dollar out of that steak... It's funny to see a guy half my weight eat more than me.... I thought Scott's eyes were going to pop out of his oversized head. After that, Tim came back with us, then left to go home when April and I went to food lion and blockbuster. Now, it's midnight, all the groceries are put away, the dishwasher is going, and I'm here blogging. Unfortunately, now I have to go work on paying the bills and THEN maybe I'll get around to having some free time. So to those of you who wonder why I'm never free to answer the phone much, today is a good example of why. With the exception of a few minutes this afternoon, I've been working for 15 hours now and I still have at least 1 to go. This sucks! I miss all you guys and hope to see you on here tomorrow. Later for now...

Diary of a Monday Madman

My so called warped opinion of people and things should be reserved for my own blog. Well just this one time ill let on habbit of mine slip through the crack. I like to sabotage credit card return forms and envelopes.. Ill provide them with false formation as well adding whatever is avaliable to weigh the envelope down. Ill use pennies, washers, skittles so on and so forth. Pure evil man!!! And there you have it your daily dose of lunacy.. Yours Truley: Mourningstar p.s. Die Wacko Jacko!

Monday Is Almost Over

Hey yall...I am off work and glad. Today has been crazy. I love my kids to death but they have been bad today. Andrew is getting in the terrible two's stage and he has started hitting all of us. Today he hit Allison in the face over and over again. Allison has tried to get Andrew in trouble all day telling me everything that he has done wrong. I almost lost it a few times...but I stayed calm and did a lot of deep breathing. I went to get a new tire on my truck today and I also got my oil changed. It has been a busy day. Thanks to Marisa and Marcus for calming me down around 5:00 today. I don't know what I would do without my Scoobies. So Marisa Congrats on your win last night against Todd. Ok I know I just keep on blabbing...Sorry, I just want to have an adult conversation since I have been talking to toddlers all day. I think I am gonna go now. I am gonna soak in a hot bath may be that will help me relax. So how was everyone else's day?

So, its raining outside, I am done with classes for a few hours (Have I ever mentioned that I hate the fact I have night class two times a week?), and daytime TV is the same boring shit as per usual. So that leaves me with two choices. Sit here, playing on the blog, or start getting some work done in the two hours I have before my next class. Something tells me I'm going to end up pretending to work more than anything else. Agent M, you around and bored too? I am looking forward to Emerald City, what about everyone else?

hi all

whats everyone doing today? i'm enjoying my day off...i worked out this morning, went to the grocery store, came home and cooked a hamburger casserole to eat for the next few days. now, i'm gonna lay my lazy ass on the couch and watch blue collar comedy tour rides again then maybe anchorman. have a great day!!

now, the weekend is over

even though it ended a little early for Lil'Bit, Gandaf, Ping-Bot, and I headed to OC for a little pool action. (i actually won a game, only because ping-bot scratched on the 8ball. Good times, especially when the fat girls and backdstreet boy wanna be walked in with body guard wanna be. it was hard to try and figure out which fat girl belonged with who, but in the end, it seemed that back street wanna be went home alone. (maybe i was more into figuring it out than anyone else...prolly cause i'm so nosey). I know that was completely irrelevent to tell, but hey, what the hell. we all know i like to talk, so in turn, i like to type...long drawn out stories. maybe it's because i'm sooo overdramatic. speaking of drama...there was actually none this weekend. go figure? a weekend without scooby drama. oh, except for lil'bit and the mom thing, but, it will get better. so, i said i wasnt into nascar, but i did pick a driver. i'm going to pull for dale jarrett this season. this is my reasoning...he drives the UPS car, and we all know "what can Brown do for you?" is my motto, being my other nickname is Brown. for those of you that dont know why, check out the boating 2004 pics on the site. (tommy, please take the one of me fallen on the dock off). the pictures tell all, especially the one with the UPS logo on my boob. thanks to tommy, i'll prolly go to jail for copyright infringement. anyways, i'm off to bed, gotta hit the gym early. but, i will be home before 10, and i'm off work with thanks to past presidents. so, i will be around to blog all afternoon, so DONT LEAVE ME HANGING YA'LL!!! have a good night. oh, natalie, i forgot to get your # from tommy tonight. i really wanted to call you sat night to see if ya'll wanted to come to emerald city, but as usual, tommy didnt answer his phone when i called to get your #. we'll make up for it this weekend!

The Weekend Is Over

The weekend is over and it has been a great one. Friday night Agent M, Black Jack and I went to the Rodeo and then to On Cue. Saturday Black Jack, Little Bit, Mark and Joe shot skeet at Black Jacks house it was fun. Saturday night me Black Jack and Agent M went to HOOTERS and then went to On Cue to hear Ed and Justin for a little while. After staying at On Cue for a while we decided to go to Emerald City to dance. We met up with Marisa's boyfriend Chris and his 2 sisters, brother and nephew. Today I watched the Daytona 500 it was a good race even though I hated the outcome. My driver didn't win. Jeff Gordon pulled through at the last and won. My weekend has been incredible. I was able to spend some time with Agent M and Black Jack together and then separate. I am glad that all the drama is gone. I am really happy with the way things are going right now. The Harley is beautiful baby...I wasn't ready for Mom!!!!

Sunday, Sunday Sunday

Boo! You should'a been payin' attention... that's what you get. Well, it's Sunday afternoon. Ive cleaned the house, drank some coffee, read the new, made lunch, played in Photoshop, burned labels for 16 new DVD movies, and checked my eBay sales for the weekend. Sorry I didn't make it on here much yestarday. It was a busy day. I had to do that job at the hospital at the crack of dawn. I left there JUST in time to take a shower and go to the Movies to see Contantine, then came back here, hung out a little, napped a little, then went to the OC to watch Ed and Justin. Sorry I missed you guys at EC last night, but it wouldn't be very gentlemanly of me to go out clubbing with my ex while my girlfriend is home with the Flu, so I kept my happy little ass right there at the OC and hung out with Todd, Sameena, and Gecko. It was good just to get out and relax away from Breezewood for a change. I love you all and I'll post a little more later. Agent M and Lil'Bit just got here so I'm going to hang out with my wang out for a while.
This one is for you Gecko. LOL... you should print these out and make them your personal business card. This is what I get for having all this free time on Sunday afternoon.

so, me, little bit, and blackjack are sitting here, having a recap of the weekend. I thought this conversation would be interesting to share. (agent m gets up and walks to the computer) Blackjack- "anything interesting on the blog?" Agent M- "no, not since i posted yesterday, no one has been on" Little Bit-"well...i haven't posted cause marcus has been too busy." "giggle giggle" Take that how you Last night was a fun night at emerald city. we started off at OC watching ed and justin. then, i (being the princess that i am) decided we were going to Emerald city so i could see chris and meet 2 of his sisters. Blackjack and Little bit left about 12'ish and me and jessica stayed and danced our asses off. well...thats about it. hope everyone had a great weekend...

where is everyone?

all afternoon, and no blogs?? what is this coming to...? Tommy isnt even answering his phone. oh, damn, thats right...everyone went to see a movie. well...whats on for tonight? I'm guessing OnCue about 10'ish? i say we all meet at breezewood and pow wow a bit beforehand? what do ya'll think??

Man, I wish this really worked! :)

For those of you who have someone who just won't get the hint that you're not interested in them......have we got the hotline for you! It's called the Rejection Hotline! You give Mr/Ms Annoying the number and let them listened to a recording telling them to bug off! The article then goes so far as to suggest other uses for the same for the overdue bill collector, telemarketers.......hmm, this could be really funny! Check this out and see what you think!

Morning All

Morning everyone. Agent M, Lil' Bit, Black Jack: Sorry we missed your rodeo last night but I'm glad you guys enjoyed it. I hope to see you guys tonight. We are all going to see Constantine at 4:00 PM. (Meeting at 2:20 at my house) If you guys want to go, Gecko is going to buy advance tickets, so you can call me and get her number. My day is starting slowly: Went to bed at 3, got up at 7:15. It's 8 AM now and April's out like a light... so I thought I'd enjoy the solitude and say good morning to everyone while I down my first cup of coffee... on that thought... let me to get my second cup... brb Nooooow! That's better. Where was I? Oh, yes, indeed; my plans for the day. Tim, Dan and Myself are leaving here at about 8:30 to go to East Carolina Neurology to install the Wireless Access Points to allow their hand-held PDAs to update to a central server in the main building. Hopefully everything will run smooth and we'll be home before lunch. Either way, I'll be back around the house by 2:30 to meet with you guys that are coming. I'm going to take my phone in case someone needs me, but don't call me to chat this morning. I hope to get this job done quick and we're going to be messing with ceiling tiles and insulation all morning. Fun Fun Fun. I hope you enjoyed the pics from last night... I just thought I'd post a few here real quick. I still have a fairly decent update to to the the main photo site but I haven't gotten around to that yet? Agent -M: Did you take pictures last night? Scooby Update: Tim (also known as Scythe on here) has been assigned his permanent nickname... lol. He's "Ping-Bot" Next time you see him... just walk past and mutter "boing" under your breath and keep walkin... lol Ok.. I'm delirious with lack of caffiene. You guys have a good morning. See you all again real soon. Love, D-D-Dash
We glimpse a moment with Todd's inner-demon.

what? no mcdonalds?

so, who knew mcdonalds doesnt serve mcChicken sandwiches at 1:30 in the morning...they used to. i know this cause i have eaten pleanty of them after leaving the OC. so, i went to get some food tonight, and the lady inthe speaker told me they wernt serving mcchicken sadnwiches for late night. how crazy is that? so, i've come home and i'm settling on toasted eggo waffles. i now remember why i havent eaten these nasty things since i was a kid. so, the rodeo was a lot of fun. sucks that ya'll missed it, but it did give me, marion and marcus some time to hang out. i really accept them together, and i think they are great for each other (who knew, a complete turn around?) so, we got back to greenville and i went to pick shawns drunk ass up from chicos, and we all went to the OC. (big surprise) the place was dead. well...not dead, rather full, but just with a lot of people i dont know. well...i'm gonna finish my nasty eggo and head off to bed. chris is supposed to come over tomorrow ~~smiles~~ so, until tomorrow ya'll...i'm out!!

Feeling my age...(don't laugh)

Ok, so I just had a disturbing thought and I thought I'd share it with everyone, since no one else other than Agent M seems to be posting. I realized, not for the first time today, that I am getting old. My friend Carla had her first baby, a little girl, Monday afternoon (Yes, a Valentine's Day baby!!) and Natalie and Thiago are getting married in about a month, not to mention the fact that one of my best friends got married over the summer. I feel very out of the loop in this little senario...all of the above mentioned ppl except Thiago are younger than me....makes you stop and think for a minute. I'm not saying I want to get married and have babies right now, but it makes me feel like that's what I SHOULD be doing....anyone else ever get those little thoughts that nature is somehow disapointed in you for NOT doing what you are programmed to do? Ok, so that was the Gecko wierd thought of the day. Ponder this for awhile, kids :)
so, has nothing interesting or exciting happened since 12:30 this afternoon. come on guys, you're letting me down here. i was all excited to come home from a long hard day at work and i was all set to blog. where the hell is everyone???

Joke of the Day

Black Jack sent me this; so I thought I'd post it.

Wife 1.0 Operating System

HELP! - Tech Support

Dear Tech Support:

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources. In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.0, Hunting and Fishing 7.5, and Racing 3.6 just don't run any more.

I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0,but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0. Please help!

Troubled User.

Dear Troubled User:

This is a very common problem that men complain about. Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program.

Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0.

It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system. Once installed. You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this.

Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony-Child Support. I recommend that you keep Wife1.0 and work on improving the situation. I suggest installing the background application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software augmentation. The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE because ultimately you will have to give the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway. Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high Maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean And Sweep 3.0,Cook It 1.5 and Do Bills 4.2. However, be very careful how you use these programs.

Improper use will cause the system to launch the program NAG NAG 9.5!

Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software.

I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0 !

WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances don't get caught running a dual boot O.S. configuration with Girlfriend 7.0 and Wife 1.0 at the same time....

This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system.

Best of luck,

Tech Support

MIS Department

(Gandalf's PS: I wonder if I can purchase Cook & Clean 1.0 separately as an addition to Girlfriend 7.0 without getting the bundled Nag 9.0 program?) hehehe just kidding dear...
ok, since i have spent so much time on here blogging inthe last 15 mins, i have ignored my dogs whining, and she is mad at me, so she pissed on the floor...damn M, where are my priorities??? I am seriously done now...i need to eat
(you'd think i could get this all out in 1 post, but, i have to make up for all the time i am at work and i cant blog). who is creative image??

forgot something

everyone be on the lookout for Stanley, the black clothes stealing gnome. He has somehow lived with me and lauren for over a year now. He likes to sneak in and steal black clothes. I have lost 3 black cardigans and a pair of black panties to him and my room mate has lost 3 black shirts. He only goes for the black ones. I really remember hanging my sweaters up, and, somehow, they're gone. Little bit, did you accidentally pick up a black cardigan of mine? check your suitcase which contains your life. If you're got the panties, can keep them. lol Thanks!!

home for lunch

time to as if 2 am wasnt enough for me. spare change isnt playing this weekend, i got confused. OC sounds great to me for tomorrow, but, i want to check with chris first. if he doesnt have Delana, then, we'll be together. I ran OnCue past him. But, i'm pretty sure we will do whatever i but, since we can only see each other maybe once a week, i really want to see him. He's got an interview w/ the gville Police dept today, so everyone say a prayer. anyways, time to eat lunch and head back to hell!! Tonight, Agent M, Little Bit, and BlackJack are gonne Git-r-dun!! Yee-Haw

Whew! I'm glad thats over!

Well, I'm back to the land of the living......sort of. :) Thank you to everyone who has been asking Tommy about me, I appreciate it more than you know! Just to fill you all in, I didn't have what Little Bit had, the doc thinks I have a virus, so I'll just have to suffer it out.......ugh! However, I think my nausea is related to the fact that everything I took this week had Tylenol in it, and I think my system had just had enough! So no more Tylenol for me for a while!! As for the plans to go out this weekend, I'm not doing anything tonight....I don't want to push my luck anymore than I have too, I'm supposed to go out with Megan tomorrow, but I'll have to wait and see with that one too. And as much as I would love to watch the 500, I have to work Sunday morning and night (am I crazy) so I can't do that either. Looks like I'm gonna be on my own a lot this weekend, but I promise to be back in full swing by next weekend! Thanks again for all your love and support!

TGIF Boys and Girls

Well, Another week has come and gone. To give a brief update: I've got my truck back for good I think! YEAH. (I'm still gonna buy Wess' Jeep... cause I want something that's totally free and clear of the company, but it's good to have wheels again anyway.) April's feeling a little better. She laughed for the first time in 3 days this morning, so that's a good sign. Her humor is back even though the rest of her is still a little under the weather. As far as my weekend plans go, I know a lot of you have been asking, so I'll update you here as best I can. I'm not going to try to make the Rodeo tonight. April's feelin ok right now, but I don't want to be that far from home if she starts feelin bad again, especially with her Jeep acting up. I'm sure we'll do SOMETHING, but I'm not sure what. We can't go to On Cue tonight. April was supposed to work this evening and I called yesterday to have Laura cover her shift. Darryl and Laura would be a little miffed if she couldn't show up for work but decided to show up to hang out instead. So, tonight might be a night full of conversation, board games, beer, or whatever; here at the house for me. I hope those of you who go to the Rodeo enjoy yourselves. I've been to a bunch of them and you ought to have a great time. Friday Night Anyone that want's to just hang out tonight is welcome to, (I've GOT to clean the house first.. I don't want ANYONE seeing my house in the shape it's in today). I'm having a Bannag moment. Saturday Morning Tomorrow I have to go with Tim and Dan to do an install job at the hospital in the morning ,but should be free in plenty of time to see Constantine. You guys want to meet at my house and all leave from here since I'm only about 2 blocks from it? Saturday Night Saturday night I'm not sure what we're doing. I'll probably go to the OC and hear Ed and Justin. They're about my favorite and after this week, I'm not sure that I'll be up to the bangin atmosphere at the EC. I'll play it by ear though. I love you all and want to see you all if you've got the time. (PS: I think we can safely raise the quarantine on my condo. April doesn't have the flu, so I'd imagine whatever it was (sinus infection is my best guess), it's not contagious at this point.) Have fun all... it's back to work for me.

It's Friday!!! I hope everyone is over all of the sneezing, coughing, and flu symptoms. I know we have all been talking about plans for the weekend since Monday. Well the weekend is here some of us are going to the Rodeo: Me, Marcus, and Marisa. If anyone would like to go feel free to come. Tomorrow night I know Marisa said Spare Change was playing and they are awesome I wouldn't mind seeing them and then may be going to see Ed and Justin for a little while...I don't know if anyone has any plans but if yall want to go out with us just let us know. Sunday is the Daytona 500... for those who don't watch NASCAR it is their Superbowl. I will be watching the race Sunday. Let's all hope that Jr. wins, but most important lets all hope that the drivers are safe and they make it through the race. A few years ago that track took NASCAR's best driver of all time.

I'm a little pissed

why do some people think that just because they are up at 2 am that everyone else should be up? so, then they decided to call you. you dont answer the first 3 times, and in the fouth call (call people, not 4th ring, i silenced my phone 4 freaking times) you answer and they say, "whats up?" "i'm sleeping"..."oh, well...whats up in general, do you want to hang out sometime?" (hang out? hell no i dont want to hang out. i've never hung out with you before, why would I want to now?...i want to sleep.) in my sleepiest voice, i say, "no, i dont want to hang out". they respond with, "so, can i call you?" (well asshole, you didnt ask if you could call me 4 times and wake me up at 2 am, but, now you ask if you can call me?) i respond with, "i'm seeing someone (in a round about sorta way, i guess you can call it seeing), i'm going to sleep" keep in mind, i am NOT the friendliest person when woken up and i'll be damned if i want to be woken up for a booty call. (i dealt with it in college, but come on, i'm 24 now, with a full time job, in which i have to be up and at by 8:15. even if i wasnt's seeing someone [in a round about kinda way], it would have to be off the charts sex for me to even consider getting up at 2 am, so i'll be damned if i'm even gonna bat an eye at getting up for someone that i've NEVER slept with). so, i hang up, and damn if they dont call right back. i answer with "what". he then proceeds with, "i just wanted to see what you are doing". doing the exact same thing i was doing 2 seconds ago, dealing with the fact that you've really pissed me off by waking me up. no, i figured i'd wake up and do some yoga. he then proceeds with, (this is the kicker) "do you want to get together and have sex?" (straight to the point, i'm not even going to comment on that one) hell no i dont want to have sex, i dont even want to be talking to you, but you didnt get the picture the first 4 times. (i said, i can be rather mean) ok, so i just needed to vent. i couldnt fall back asleep, so i decided i needed something to drink. well...the computer is on the way to the kitchen, and the blogspot seems to be my vice. man, i'm really going to regret this one in the morning. oh, and hell yeah, i got 21 comments to my post...i'm da' bomb!!

Black Jacks Thought of the Day

Does any one feel that there are angels amoung us to guide us and lead us in a certin directions (or paths if you will). You may never meet them but once and forget them the next minute, or they might have made such an impact that you will never forget. By the way I want no I am going to the rodeo Friday night anyone is welcome togo with me. As for Sat. Night I am game for anything!!! E-City sounds good to me. Sunday is the RACE anybody want to watch at my house? Just let me know.
This is my best friend in the whole world. We don't see each other much but he's most akin to Marcus in his mannerisms, way of speaking, and sense of humor. He's now a full fledged Window Wiper (Air Force) Stagg Sergeant. I'm posting this here so he can see that I still remember him and think of him often.

This particular photo isn't that new, but it's a friend of mine that I wish you could all meet. His name is Jonathan, but I've always called him "Noll".. which is what his dad called him and for some reason it just stuck with me. He graduated Summa Cum Laude, just like he always said he would. I can't wait until our reunion this year, so I can catch up with him.

I decided to post a few of these on here for posterity's sake as I was going through my albums tonight. I took some time to crop the articles and put them in an album before I lost them forever in a jumbled mess. This was Hannah's first real report period since she's been in school. This is the first year they get an A,B, C rating. She made principal's list the first time (which I owe credit to her mom for that one. Michelle was the A-list kid,) AND she made honor roll the second time (which I take full credit for. That's more in my ball-park.) I know this post will be gone in 3 days, moved to the archives like so much else in our lives. But someday, Hannah or I will go through here and take a stroll through memory lane and see it. Then maybe she'll be glad I put it here, or maybe I'll just enjoy the memory of this time of her life. Whichever it is, I hope if she ever reads this that she knows that I love her and I'm proud of her.

i just want to know who's all blogging right now...comment here, real quick. this way, we can all share our no lives together. remember the days when we all sat at the bar and hung out? now, we all sit at home, on our computers, blogging!! technology, huh?

Alright, this weekend sounds like it is going to suck...nikki and joe are out of town...tommy and april are going to be holed up...gecko is going to be having "issues" I am saying it now...WE ARE GOING TO EMERALD CITY next weekend if I have to drag every last one of you by your hair...I sooo want to go I dont care...Friday or pick...but we are excuses you punks :-)

The Evil of Trading Spaces

We have all seen the show in question time and time again. If you have a "signifigant other" than you have probably saw it more than you want to. Trading Spaces is a great evil speading cheap and easy do-it-yourself home improvment ideas. BUT THAT IS THE PROBLEM! It gives a false sence of talent and affordability. The devastating effects of what i have outlined above can be financially and morally far reaching. IN REPARING THE DAMAGE I MEAN! Sanctions on this television show should be set in your household. If you dont believe me just wait until someone you love starts starching brown-bags to your bathroom wall. Page Davis "the shows host" although cute is the devil as i have found through through research. That is another story... In conclusion just remember what i have said.... Know the warning signs and dont let this happen to you!

blackjack, this is for you

i want to make my point and announce this to everyone, but especially you marcus. i am sincerely sorry and i support you and little bit in whatever happens. i was being so selfish, and i realized, i dont want to lose a friend...i want to gain one...thats you. so, can we start over, as friends?

forgot something

Tommy...please tell me what the deal is for the weekend...or, maybe you're not telling me cause you dont love me anymore? that must be it...i mean, i still havent gotten a return phone call from SUNDAY!!! well...obviously you know i didnt fuck my computer up too bad if i've been blogging all week. still, a freaking phone call would be nice...

thanks little bit

thanks for hearing me out last night and really listening to me. i was scared to tell you about me and chris because i thought i knew what you were gonna tell me to do. but, instead, you basically told me to follow my heart. and, my heart tells me to take it day by day. you told me you can see it in my eyes, and if you can see that, then i know this can turn into something meaningful. no rush, just nice and slow and day by day. there's too much to lose to rush into anything. i've got all the time in the world.

Thoughts of a Gecko

I feel inspired to post. But not inspired to a topic. Maybe it's because I am getting sick as well. I don't know if it's what April and Little Bit have, but it's just starting whatever it is. I have been sneezing like crazy for two days! The week has flown by, I can't believe it's almost Friday already, feels like the weekend just ended yesterday! Well, I guess I had better get back to work (or is it hardly working?) Everyone have a great day, and I hope you are feeling better April and Little Bit!

How is it that two people can have the same dream at the same time? That's weird but the odd part is when the two people get together and start talking about their dreams they start filling in each others blanks like they were there. Its like you have two people in one. Another thing is details only you know the colors of your dreams and the small details that no one else would know unless they were there... There is someone in my dreams other than me... May be it was meant to be...

How is it possible that two people can have the same dream at the same time? That's strange but the part that is so weird is when the two people talk and start telling each other about their dreams it almost seems like they are in each others mind. Odd. They start to say something and the other one can fill in the blank with exact detail. It actually feels like the two people are one person...

WTF mate?

Ok what the hell is going on here? This will require bold and enlarged text! What is it with the Handgun drinking comment.... Wacko Jacko!!! I am not a raving psychotic contrary to popular beleif!! Lay off me and ill lay off my bold enlarged text.... I believe my last post was to the fruit cake? i think!! All i wanted to do was say hi and now my name is all over this shit! WTF! So maybe my ideals and opinions may scare some people... But im not going to post them here!

happy thursday

hi everyone...just wanted so say good morning and hello...i havent made a post in awhile. question though (AND SOMEONE PLEASE ANSWER, ANYONE)...who is scythe and blackjack? these code names confuse the hell out of me...i only know my scooby names. well...i need to go get ready for work, i have a really busy day today. i love the new job i'm training for. the girl i train with is out today, and i have a ton to do. ok, so weekend plans anyone? Oncue saturday most likely? i even heard Backseat Romeo mentioned on the Oncue radio commercial. so, what about friday?? come on guys, it's only a day away! have a great day everyone!!

Mourningstar Strikes Again

WTKA-AM Mourningstar, Where were you between the hours of Friday at 7 PM and Sunday at 7 PM? This smacks of you... reeks of you.. I KNOW you did it. All in a subtle attempt to practice for your ultimate goal... the complete and total destruction of Michael Jackson! Gandalf

Another reason why Todd shouldn't drink and play with weapons!

ThisisLondon I couldn't resist.

See... my day could have been worse (Click here)

ThisisLondon Bannag, See what would happen! This is one of those threats you're REALLY not supposed to go through with. And I know you're the type to consider this.

Say Hi To Wess!

Just wanted to let everyone know to say hi to Wess. (Norwgn_Biker). I know the authors list is getting a little long so we don't always see the new additions. He and Mourningstar should provide most of the confrontational conversation... lol. I can see it now. The only thing better than this site, is if I could get everyone on it at the same time, drunk.

Gandalf, I forgot to mention although it should be common sense...make sure she drinks plenty of plenty I mean the actual 8 - 8oz glasses per day...that will help flush her system plus it's also good for fatigue. That is in addition to the chammomile tea...not in replacement of.

been away too long

Ok, I have to admit, I haven't been posting much lately. I've been having too much fun reading everything else. I had a great time last weekend and I'm hoping for a repeat this weekend... I won't get into details, but I could use a distraction and a big group thing would do the trick nicely. Everyone who is sick, I hope you all feel better!! Ok, it is late, and I just felt guilty I hadn't been posting lately, so I just wanted to wish everyone a good week. It's half over!

Hey yall I hope everyone has had a great day. Tommy and April I am soooo glad that yall had a great Valentine's Day. Marisa I am happy that you are no longer against V-Day and I am sure that your flowers are beautiful. So how was everyone elses Valentine's Day? Mine was great other than being sick. I feel a lot better today. I think I will be back to my normal self by tomorrow. So what are everyones plans for the weekend? I am gonna go to the Rodeo Friday night. It should be fun. I don't know what I am gonna do Saturday night? I am in such a good mood today :).

Monday, Bloody Monday

Ugh.. Ack.. ewww...yuck! It's Monday... again. I swear the older I get, the more quickly the weeks seems to pass by. What's on everyone's agenda for today? Here's my day: I'm getting into the habit of posting my day here because it's my homepage, so I see that long endless list every time I open my browser... and it also serves to help me get things done faster so I can play on here. (Isn't that a sick twisted reason to work hard? Just so you can play on your blog?) Just as a matter of note: How many of us have this set to their homepage? I know I do on 2 of the computers. Zeus still goes to my main site for its homepage. I've been seeing that same site on my homepage for about 7 years so it seems sacreligious to change it now. lol.. I feel like my web site is being replaced by a new one.... *pout*... Ok.. anyway, my day: What is Gandalf doing today?

Holy friggin post-it-note Batman! That's a lot of stuff to do in one day. The good news is, I guess, that April works tonight so I can work on through most of the night to get this mess done. I'll be in and out of here all day, like usual, mainly looking to see what new posts there are. I hope you're all having a good day... it seems like I've got a long one ahead. I didn't think I had that much to do until I started writing it down... crap. *poofing into the ether* (Updated at 1:15) (Updated at again 5:05)

Flu is in full swing

Ok, everyone please start rotating Tylenol and Advil every 4 hours (especially if yall have been around me). Little Bit has the flu. I am out of work for 7 days. My parents took me to urgent care last night when they got home from work. My temp was 104.2. This stuff is not fun at all. Hopefully I will be better by the weekend. I feel better today than I did yesterday. The Dr. I saw was awesome he gave me Tylenol and Advil to rotate for fever and flu symptoms, then he gave me Darvocet for body aches. I hope I haven't passed it around, and if some of yall get it I am so sorry. I'm gonna go lay down now feel free to call I'm extremely bored.

what an end to the day

picture's valentines day, you plan on spending the evening alone. you order wings over greenville. it gets delivered about 8:15. you're enjoying the taste of the spicy teriyaki, when the doorbell rings about 8:30. you know you're not expecting anyone. you open the door only to see the most beautiful bouquet of red roses you've ever seen, 12 of them as a matter of fact, with a lonely pink one in the middle...the delivery lady says "the person sending these to you was very set on having them delivered today, but we were so short staffed, we're just getting to it now." i bring them inside and they smell wonderful. 13 roses in all 12 red and 1 pink, stuffed with baby's breath and greens. the card reads "dont give up on valentines day just yet". never in my life have i had flowers delivered to me on valentines day and i have 24 vday's under my belt. this so gives me hope...

check this out

do you know whats worse than not getting flowers at work for valentines day? getting a phone call asking you if you got flowers, then realizing the floral company NEVER delivered them. maybe my day was supposed to be special, but it got "blogged" up instead. (tommy, like the use of the word?) it's ok though, the thought is what mattered the most. just to know someone really wanted to make my day special. even though i'm spending my night alone, i still have a smile on my face.

Well ill get on this wagon!!!

New Uses for the word "Blog"

I have determined that "Blog" fits the profile for a wonderful new four letter are some of my suggestions... Go "Blog" yourself! "Blog" you, mother"blogger"! Wipe that "blog"eating grin off your face! You "Blog"hole! Get off your "blog" & do something constructive! Your "blog" is showing. I think this will come in handy on the streets of Greenville...any more ideas? **There now Gandalf I have officially "Blogged" in the literal sense of the word...are you happy now?**

My dirty joke of the day... hehehe

A man and his wife were driving home one very cold night when the wife asks her husband to stop the car. There was a baby skunk lying at the side of the road, and she got out to see if it was still alive. It was, and she said to her husband, "It's nearly frozen to death. Can we take it with us, get it warm, and let it go in the morning?" He says, "O.K., Get in the car with it." "Where shall I put it to get it warm?" He says, "Put it in between your legs. Its nice and warm there. "But what about the smell?" "Just hold its nose." The man is expected to recover, but the skunk she used to beat him with died at the scene.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Ok, ok, I know so far the general consensus is that Valentine's Day sucks, but there are quite a few of us that disagree. I'm sure at one point in time or another, you have felt the love that V-Day stands for....... I know that I am one of the luckiest people alive! I have found one of the best men in the world that loves me just as much! For the first time in my life I feel a completeness that I've never had.... There has not been a time since we've been together that I've ever felt lonely and unloved. I may not ever be able to express just how deeply I care, but maybe by doing this everyone else will know. Tommy- Before I met you I was just going through the motions of life. Since we've been together I feel that everything in life has taken on more meaning than ever before! I awake each morning to you beside me knowing that you love me more than anything! Sensing that first thing puts a smile on my face that lasts all day long! I love every bit of time we have together, whether its fighting over who has to get up and turn off the alarm, to taking a snuggle break from work just to have a hug and a kiss! I may have been a little worried about the move to Breezewood, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else than here with you! You are the very best thing that has ever happened to me, and I don't ever want you to forget it! I love you, baby!!! --As for everyone else-- please know that my life has become much sweeter having the great people that I have in it! From the old Scoobs to the new, you have all been a blessing! I look so forward to getting to know everyone and having many more fun times ahead! Know too that V-Day isn't just for lovers, but for friends too. Oh yeah, just a warning to those that may/may not care: Tommy and I want to cut off all access to the outside world Monday after 5 pm. Natalie and Thiago had their romantic weekend, and we would like just one romantic night! I'm sure y'all can find something of your own to keep you busy! :)

ok, we have a serious problem

i admit it, i'm addicted. i have set my home page to scooby central!!

The Weekend Was Fun

Hey everyone this weekend was lots of fun. Me, Marisa, and April got much needed GIRL TIME that was way over due. Some of the conversations were risky but fun. April is a wonderful person and I feel that I get closer and closer to her the more I am around her. We share a lot in common and not to mention she is dating my best guy friend who happens to be one of the best guys ever. I am sooooo happy they are together and happy. Tommy KEEP her. I already know you will but I just want to state the obvious. Marisa this week has been mighty difficult for the both of us. We have been through so much in the past. No matter problems big or small I am right here beside you every step of the way. I value our friendship more than you will ever know. Girls Victoria Secret was too much fun. The look on that womans face was priceless. Emerald City was interesting. My feet still hurt. I have been so SLEEP deprived this weekend I am gonna go crash now. Unlike other people I didn't get a nap today. One more thing I had a great afternoon with a wonderful friend who means so much to me. The one on one time was fun we were able to be goofy and have a much needed talk. I love you dad!!!

Hello all, Well, for all those of you who were just dying to know (and I am sure this is everyone hehe)...We had a fabulous time at the beach. This romantic getaway was long over due, so we took advantage of every minute of it. Somehow, in a day and a half we managed to get tons of shopping done, go bowling/play pool, fly a kite, cuddle on the beach, go to a NC aquarium, go to the lost colony and still have time for couple of hours of "other" things that we won’t explicitly mention. We ate dinner last night at this great restaurant, called....well I don’t quite remember the name...something with windmill in it, in Nags Head...but the restaurant was completely decorated using the refurbished furniture from the S.S. United States. The food was to die for. Today we had lunch at this great diner overlooking the ocean in Manteo (Again the name escapes me)...but it was great...Definitely a wonderful Valentines Day weekend. Well, I will keep this short so as to not piss off all the V-day boycotters.

A hypothesis on prevailing wind currents

This is a question that has baffled men for many years I'd imagine, but, lacking the proper forum for discussion, its considered indecent to talk about in polite circles. Since we all know that I'll talk about just about anything..... I'll go ahead and propose it to the world at large. How come, when you fart in a vehicle, the duration of the stench is directly proportionate to the olfactory offensibility said stench? The more poweful of a reek your ass produces, the longer it wants to stay in the venhicle. And further, this is only half of the question: The other half of the question pertains to prevaling wind current. For example, whenn driving in a vehicle at 45 miles per hour and a fart is released from its gaseous prison, no amout of wind current seems to affect it's presence, nor its duration. Science would suggest the the fart should be quickly vented from the vehicle's confines, since in essence it is a collection of particles floating through the air. For some reason, the fart particles seem completely immune to the effects of wind. Anyone know why this is? No... really... I'm serious! Scythe, I'm sure you have a scientific answer to this one. Or maybe Mourningstar....

Sunday Sunday Sunday.....

Greetings all, Wow.. what a night. It's noon and I've just fully recovered from an evening out with the Scoobs (and the not-quite-scoobs). Natalie, I hope you and Thiago are having a good weekend together on the beach. Bannag, as always you're spending time with Peanut and the family and I hope your weekend is wonderful too. Mine's been pretty good thus far, sans the V-day stress every male feels the day before V-Day. Anyone ever notice that V-Day and D-Day sound a lot alike??? I guess it depends on the Well, we began the night with our weekly venture to On Cue. Reel Time (Adrian's other other other band,) was playing last night. They have an ok sound, but I like his main band better. As usual, drama ensued at the OC early on. I, however, was oblivious. I was playing pool most of the time we were there. (Bannag, you would be proud! I kicked some serious ass on the felt last night.) Not much of mention happened at the Cue last night. Natalie's gang met us out there for awhile and then we left for Emerald City. (Oh yeah, that's why I didn't answer your phone call Scythe... I couldn't hear the phone) I think, drama aside, that everyone had a good time. (if you completely remove the relationship issues) The new folks merged pretty well with the old folks and as usual we capped the night with a breakfast get-together at 2:30 in the morning. However let me state as a matter of warning; IHOP is nowhere near ready for us... lol We decided to skip on the trip to murder central (Denny's) and try IHOP instead (yeah, I take the blame for that... my bad). Needless to say, the 4 out of 5 Scoobies prefer Denny's in a recent taste test. There was one particularly funny episode at IHOP last night. Todd, in his usual candor, asked the waitress for a Glass of water, a Lemon wedge, and a Krouton. 10 sinutes later, I'll be damned if the goober waitress didn't show up with exactly that. Everything else we ordered, however, was either late, cold, or just plain not good. I'm sitting here now with Marcus and April. She's finally decided to unpack her stuff from moving in; OH JOY! MORE GLASSES! We have sooo much stuff now that I've got to figure a way to re-contemporarize my condo... lol. Ok... I've wandered you aimlessly through my mind for quite long enough today I think. My first idea was to come on here and rebutt the Anti-V-Day sentiment, but I'll leave that to persons better than myself. I'm a man... I won't win that one anyway, so what's the point. Ok... till next time, or until I decide to have some more worth talking about. Talk to you soon. *poof*

Why Valentine's Day Sucks

Ok, so I know that most of you reading this are a part of a couple, and that this weekend is a time to reafirm your love and commitment by showing with romantic words and gestures how much you mean to each other. Most of the time, I would say that is a great thing. I have even enjoyed Valentine's day in the past, last year was one of the happiest memories I have. However, this year I am not lucky enough to have someone to share all those happy things with. The only man I have ever been in love with just left me a month ago, and is now back with his ex girlfriend, giving her the flowers and attention that I think I should still be entitled to. I just spent the last 14 months of my life with him, so where are my flowers? So here is my version of a bitter rant towards men (and yes, not all men are bad, I know, so no one on this site should take offense). It's impossible for me not to feel upset and sad just because HE decided he was bored and no longer wanted to be in a serious, long term relationship. It is ridiculous for him to tell me that I cry too much and that because I cry means I am still hanging on to the idea he is coming back for me. I am not. I have mostly good days now, but sometimes a girl just has to break down and cry, no matter how much she hates herself for it. So that's why I am boycotting V-Day this year- it just reminds me that things don't always work out the way you want them to. But anyway, I don't really know any of you very well, I just thought I would join the ranks of ranters and venters for a moment. I don't know any of you very well, but I would very much like to. From what I can see, you are some of the best people in the world. Sweet, and loyal, and caring. So please enjoy your Valentines day if you have someone to share it with, and take it from me: don't ever take that person or a single day you spend with them for granted. Tell them how much you love them every day. And help out your single friends so they feel included in this couples weekend. Thanks, and to everyone, I hope I can get to know you all better. You are all wonderful. Heather

As stated earlier, ECU's Mendenhall is going to be showing a sneak preview of CONSTANTINE the new Keanu Reeves movie this week. I found out it will be Wednesday, at 7:00pm. The price is free, but because of that, I would reccomend anyone interested show up at Mendenhall at least an hour prior to showtime for seating. If anyone has any other questions or needs directions, please let me know in a post.

What is a Scooby?

A scooby is a very close circle of friends. We all have our own special place and role within the family. When you are a Scooby, you are never alone. There is always another Scooby there to laugh with, talk to, cry on, or just to love. Being a Scooby is something special. It is a right that is earned. You prove yourself to other Scoobies through trust, love, and friendship. You can't become a "true Scoob" overnight. Having a group of friends this close is something so special, no one can ever take it away. You will laugh, cry, and sometimes get so mad that you want to walk away. But, you can't...once a Scooby, always a Scooby. Tommy- I've known you almost 4 years. You have been there for me in so many ways. Sometimes i thought i would never get through some trials and tribulations of life without you. Even though we took time apart from hanging out over the years, our friendship never did. I love you. Marion- I dont know where to start with you. You have been the closest female friend i've ever had. I feel so lost if i dont talk to you every day. I know i can turn to you with anything and i know you will always take how i feel to heart, and you will never cut me down. When you get on me, i know it's because you love me and you dont want me to get hurt. I love you more than anything and you will always be my best friend. Love ya! April- I love you and tommy together. I know we arent extremely close, but i never thought i would ever be this close to a female, as tommys girlfriend. I know if something bothers me, i can turn to you and i can confide in you when i need an unbiased opinion. I really look forward to so many memories to come. love ya

i need to vent

i'm over the couple bullshit. this couple crap makes me sick. i'm boycotting scooby couples. as for myself, i had 2 different things lined up tonight, just in case 1 fell through. well, get this shit...they both bailed on me. so Dash, you can take me off the list of what everyone has planned for tonight. my best friend is out with my ex (yes, i am bitter, i'll admit it...even though everyone says i dont have a right to be), but i did really appreciate the flowers. Little Bit, you still are the best, even though i just dont understand what is going on. well...after just a few phone calls, looks like Agent M might be up to something after all...but, of course, it's no good...muahahaha
