Light the Fires and Kick the Tires Big Daddy. We're Outta Here!
You hear that sound? Yes sir. That's the sound of a boeing 737's twin turbines revving up to get me outta here and back to the third world! I spoke to my secretary this morning and it appears that our passports are FINALLY back in from Canada. What does this mean? Well, it means that within 48-72 hours, I'll have my happy ass on a plane to Africa! I've missed my baby, missed my work, and missed being productive for so long that I can't WAIT to get back in the saddle. So, for those of you who want to reach me after this Saturday, you'll need to do it via email, messenger, blog, or myspace. I'll be gone for at least six weeks, maybe longer. I'm not sure at this point yet how long Il'l be gone, or where in Libya I'll be. I know that I'll be starting out at the apartment in Tripoli working on this project that we've been running for two years now. My primary objective is to get this phase of this project completed. My secondary objectives are to prep for the next step in this project, and to also prepare the preliminary groundwork for two other projects in Africa. So, without further ado, I'm gonna run and get to work. I'll chat with all of you again soon.
