It's neat to see the parallels between your trip and mine. I'm in Africa, but this part of it is highly reminiscent of the Roman architecture that still stands. In that picture, you could easily be standing right where I was in the Arch of Marcus Aurelius.
Two of us, from two sides of the us, both half the world away at the same time on unrelated events, both standing in the ruins of the Roman Empire... interesting my friend.
