Natural or not.. not sure

This is an oil station for some company somewhere in the desert. I truly have no idea who this is seen below, but you can see the oil runoff pools that stretch across the desert. Most of what you're seeing is water, but the soil itelsf takes on a darker color where the oil settles into the sand.
