  5. TJ - I just finished reading the latest, and it is great to hear all about your work. Your writing is very descriptive and I can uaually picture what you are writing about. It was really great to talk to you yesterday. I miss you a lot - I have to bug Ray with my computer ?'s now. Cynthia Dickens has asked for your blog site so she can keep up with your trip. I hope it's ok. Everything is ok here at home - just real busy on taxes. I really haven't worked much overtime yet but that's ok too. I still have 50 hours left from 2005. Everyone at church is praying for you and your crew. Arvin called while I was reading your latest comments and I read some of them to him. He said he knew you were enjoying the opportunity of a lifetime and he hoped everything goes well for you. Got to run now and do some Beach Buggy work. Take care and remember I love you.

  6. Hey Tommy, We missed you, today, when we took April to Deadwood for her birthday. I am so glad she will get to go and see you, and the other part of the world. I am so jealous, that I can't go. I have moved around, out of NC, and know there really is other life out there. I also know they can be
so different from home, but it can be fun to see the differences if you look at it as an adventure of sorts. Best of luck in your travels. Take care of yourself.

  7. Thanks Miss Cathy! And you too Frankie. I'm looking forward to having her over here too. I miss her horribly.

I promise to take good care of her and bring her back safe and in one piece...if maybe a little more tanned.

  8. Well Tommy, April said that no one writes to fill you in on our days so here’s what’s been going on in my life.

To start off with there is only 10 days left until the wedding. I must admit that I am a little nervous, not that I don’t want to get married but that every thing will go smooth. I am just ready for the honeymoon. We will be leaving Sunday the 16 to go to Orlando (Disney World my choice) for 3 days, and then it’s off to Key West (her choice) for 5 days. We have had 3 wedding showers, and have gotten a lot of nice things. Every thing so far has gone fairly smooth for the most part only a few headaches such as the flowers, yesterday was the third time I had to go in and straighten out the mess. But other than little thing every thing is fine.
Me and a few buddies went to Myrtle Beach for the bachelor party/birthday March 17-19. Mary and her friends went down the same weekend but they stayed about 15 miles away. I might have seen her 2 hours the whole weekend so that was good. We played a lot of golf at some really nice courses. Then on Sat. night we hit up the nicest strip club I have ever stepped foot in, The Masters. There must have been 75 girls working that night. They didn’t get me up on stage or anything, but IT WAS GREAT.
Mary and I bought a house in Winterville, Clevewood subdivision we close on April 27. It needs to have some painting done in three rooms but hopefully buy the first weekend in May we will be able to start moving in. I already have plans for the instillation of my massive audio system and my TVs wish you were here to help. The yard needs a little work, but by next year I might be able to get it accomplished.
Well I’ll try to update a little more in the future. Be careful and have fun. Also I enjoy the pictures and the updates so please keep them coming.

  9. Hey Tommy,
The pictures are great! Thanks for sharing them. I really enjoy your Blog! It looks like you are at a GREAT BIG BEACH with very little water.:) The eclipse pictures are fantastic. I bet it would be easy to get lost there, day or night. We are thinking of you and hope the job is going good. Bye for now, Cathy and Frankie

  10. Beach? Lol... this would be what Hell must be like for evil Surfers. All that sand but no Curl to be found anywhere.

The job is going great...it's a job, so it has its good days and its bad days, but it's going along. I just can't wait to get done and get home. When we get home, you guys and me and Twitterpaited are going to Cracker Barrel. I'm ordering 4 orders of bacon, two orders of sausage, and 2 pots of coffee.

Thanks for letting me know you're here. I'm glad you keep up with it. It's just very comforting to know that there are people back home who care and that take the time to see what's going on over here.
Thanks so much. I miss you all.

  11. Back to the real world.

The wedding went great, thanks to my girls for coming. It was really a blur, the wedding felt like it lasted 10 min. the pictures felt like an hour then the reception went by in what felt like 15 min. After that we went and got undressed at my moms house and gathered up everything for the honeymoon. The night of the wedding we stayed at the City Hotel and Bistro, a lot of Mary’s friends and a few people from my work showed up and we had a blast. Needless to say we got DRUNK. Scratch leaving at 7:30 for Disney World, we left around 11. I drove to Orlando and we made it there by 10:30pm. Monday and Tuesday were spent at Disney and it was fun (Note: Mission Space, the ride that has killed or caused the death of 2 people was awesome but it is so intense and the g-force’s are so strong it makes your chest hurt and I can see how if you are in bad heath you should not ride. Also the Tower of Terror is great.) just a lot of walking. Wednesday we were off to Key West, this town is fun, but expensive. Over our time there we relaxed but we did a lot such as snorkeling, a sunset sail, went to the aquarium, went on a day trip to the Dry Tortugas island (by boat it is 70 miles west of Key West, it is home of Fort Jefferson looks kind of like Fort Macon but on an island with a mote around it that you can walk and see the coral that has grown on it) went shopping and partying on Duval Street, did the Hemmingway house and some other interesting things. We stayed there 5 full days and left Monday and went to Hilton Head now that is one nice place that we will go back to. We stayed at the South Beach Marina as I said it was very nice. Now I am back in Greenville and that sucks but I guess I need to work and pay for the trip now. Oh they moved the closing of our house to May 5 now so I am officially living out of my suite case for one more week.

    Until Later

  12. Wow, now Mary and I are officially home owners! I have never signed so many papers in my life. Let the fun begin; now we have to paint a few rooms and I want to run my surround sound wires in the walls, but hopefully we can get that done by next Friday so we can move in next weekend. Tommy I hope everything is well and look forward to hearing from you soon. Everything here is the same old. I am looking into some ideas that have come to me recently but for now I think I will just sit on them until everything gets back to somewhat of some normalcy.

    Until Later,

    Marcus
